A psychological or psychoeducational evaluation can help pinpoint why your child may be struggling and can assist in developing targeted interventions to help your child succeed academically, behaviorally, and emotionally.
Our approach to the evaluation process is collaborative and we plan to work with you - the caregiver- to best support your child. Helping children succeed academically, socially, and emotionally is our passion and we hope to be able to share this devotion with you, your child, and your family. We provide gifted testing, learning disability testing, autism and ADHD testing, and more.

Is my child gifted? Does he/she need a more challenging curriculum or academic environment? A gifted evaluation will provide insight into your child's intellectual ability, as well as determine cognitive areas of strength and weakness.
A learning disability is a neurological disorder that affects the way a child learns. A learning disability may manifest as difficulty learning to read, write or compute math. We will engage in comprehensive psychoeducational testing to determine specific areas your child may be struggling in. We can also assess for specific reading deficits such as dyslexia, which is a specific learning disorder in reading that affects 1 in 5 children.
An intellectual disability is characterized by both impairments in intellectual functioning and adaptive functioning - or every-day living skills. An intellectual disability evaluation can help determine if your child is struggling in everyday life due to cognitive impairments and provide recommendations on how to best assist your child as she/he navigates through life.
Do you find that your child has difficulty paying attention, remaining on task, concentrating, etc. Or maybe your child is very active, impulsive, and difficult to control. An ADHD evaluation will examine data related to your child's cognitive and academic functioning, behavioral functioning, as well as input from parents and teachers to determine the presence of an underlying disorder in attention and/or hyperactivity/impulsivity that may be impeding his or her academic, social, and behavioral functioning.
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurological developmental disorder with onset during the early years of a child's life. Our comprehensive ASD evaluation will assess your child's social functioning and communication, behavior, and adaptive functioning in order to determine the presence of ASD and appropriate recommendations and services to support your child's functioning. We also offer brief ASD testing services for re-evaluation and insurance requested testing.
We also offer psychoeducational testing to provide academic-related information for school placement testing, current levels testing, and re-evaluation needs for private, religious, and charter schools. Testing can be targeted to the needs of the school and may include assessment of academic skills, cognitive functioning, and behavior or attention data.
We provide consultation for school and academic-related services such as, Individualized Education Plans (IEP), 504 accommodations, Exceptional Student Education (ESE) eligibility or placement, Response to Intervention (RtI), and more.
